Keith has been in the farm management business since 1967. Raised on a family farm in south central Nebraska, Keith is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture. He started his professional farm management career at the National Bank of Commerce (NBC) in the North Platte and Kearney territories. In 1974, he moved to Lincoln as Vice President and head of the NBC Farm Management Department. In 1990, he became President of First Commerce Farm and Ranch Management. When the company merged with United Nebraska Bank in 1994, Keith became General Manager of United Farm and Ranch Management. In 2004, TierOne Bank of Lincoln acquired the United Nebraska Bank and now Keith serves as President of their subsidiary, United Farm & Ranch Management, Inc.

Keith has acquired professional designations of Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) and Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). He served as President of both the Nebraska Chapter of ASFMRA and the Nebraska Agribusiness Club in Lincoln. Keith also has served on several advisory boards, including Agri-Finance Magazine, the American Cyanamid Company, Nebraska LEAD program, and is past Vice-President of District VI of the ASFMRA.

Chris is Operations Manager for the home office in Lincoln.  He started with the company in 1987.  He was raised on a family farm in east central Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture.  Chris is a graduate of the Nebraska LEAD Program and is active in his profession and his community.  He is past president of the Nebraska Agribusiness Club and a member of the Lancaster County 4-H Council.

Based in Lincoln, Dave manages farms in east central and southeast Nebraska.  He has a strong agronomy background and experience with the fertilizer and chemical business.  Raised on a family farm in southeast Nebraska, he is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.

Boyd Smith

Boyd grew up on a farm in York County and is a graduate of Doane College.  He has been an operator and part owner of a 1,800-acre family farm producing grain and livestock.  Prior to joining UFARM, he worked as a Farm and Ranch Underwriter for a major insurance company.  In addition to his careers in farming and insurance, Boyd has served as chairman of the National Corn Growers Association Ethanol Marketing Committee and has served on other boards and agencies promoting biotechnology and ethanol.

Rod is a native of Holdrege, Nebraska, where he managed the family farm from 1971 to 1988.  He became an associate broker and professional farm manager in the Holdrege area.  In 1993, he moved to Lincoln, and since 1995 has worked as an associate broker, consultant and appraiser in Norfolk.  In addition to being a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Nebraska, in 2006 Rod has added licensed Auctioneer to his resume.

Randy grew up on a farm in Stanton County and has been actively engaged in farming.  He has attended the University of Nebraska Extension programs for crop production and grain marketing and has also completed the TEPAP Program (The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers) at Texas A&M.  He is a member of the alumni group AAPEX.  Randy has also been active in his community serving as President of the Volunteer Firemen, is on the board of the Planning Commission, and the Housing Authority.

Dean was raised on a family farm in Dawson County, Nebraska.  After graduating from the University of Nebraska, he obtained his master's degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado.  Dean is an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) and a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Nebraska.

Mike was raised on a family farm near Holdrege in south central Nebraska.  Mike attended the University of Nebraska, studying agricultural economics.  He has farmed and been actively involved in managing a cattle-feeding operation for the past twenty years.  He manages farms in south central Nebraska.

Robin came from a family farm in Custer County, Nebraska.  He attended Lincoln School of Commerce, studying accounting.  He has farmed and ranched for 25 years and is a state licensed registered appraiser.  Robin travels out of the North Platte office and manages farms in southwest Nebraska.

Raised on a Sandhills ranch, Gary has a long history of farm and ranch management.  He is an Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) and Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA).  He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.  His territory is north and west Nebraska.  Gary works out of the North Platte office.

Glen focuses his sales activity on farms, ranches, acreages, commercial, developmental and residential properties throughout Nebraska.  He originates loans and assists customers in completing 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges (trades).  Glen brings to United Farm and Ranch Management more than 30 years of agricultural credit and appraisal experience with Farm Credit Services and Doane Agricultural Services, Inc.  Glen also enhances property sales by offering auctioneering services.

Mary started her career with the Company in 1990.  She earned her Nebraska Sales License in 1992, her Registered Real Estate Appraiser License in 1993 and became a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in 2004 with over 7,000 appraisal hours.  Mary has a strong agricultural background and actively assists with the farm management, real estate sales and appraisal activities of the Kearney Branch office.
