Permanent Easements: The City of Waverly has three city water wells located on the property with an easement linking them together to pump water to the city tower. In 2009 the City of Lincoln constructed a Greenwood to Lincoln water line on a permanent easement of 8.38 acres. In 2008 Aquila (now Black Hills Energy) Gas Company placed their gas line on a 3.34 acre Permanent Easement. These two easements are parallel and run from the northeast corner to the southwest corner of the farm. The sites have been restored and farming continues over the easement areas.
Possession: The farmland is leased annually. There is an annual pasture tenant and an additional month-to-month lease on the farmstead. Full possession could be given on March 1, 2011. Possession in 2010 is subject to present leases and is negotiable.
