Cattle working area is heated with propane, has an air circulation and exhaust system, a “Silencer” hydraulic squeeze chute, high pressure water clean-up, all concrete floors drain to the lagoon, and load out for trucks and trailers.

Equipment and Shop Building: All steel 40’ x 80’ building. Heated shop area is 40’ x 20’ with electrical and water. Large overhead doors on each end.

Feed System: 10 12-ton bulk bins are connected by an elevator leg and dragline.

Cattle Shed: 30’ x 60’ Pole Shed with water, electrical and heated automatic water.

Hay Pad: 60’ x 120’ concrete hay storage.

Cattle Lots: 3 acres of lots with 8” thick concrete. 14 pens with fence line feedbunks, heated automatic waters, and drainage to lagoons. Pens are constructed from 2” x 2” x 1/8” steel tubing and concrete stem walls for easy cleaning.

Well System: 5 separate wells are interconnected to all locations on the farm. One high capacity well is used for flushing out pens.

Electric System: Separate meters for the house and feedlot. Both are interconnected to a standby generator.

Lagoon System: 3 large lagoons catch all the runoff from the feedlot and building site. 2 large dams back up these lagoons so no runoff leaves the farm.
