For over 20 years, Rod has helped his clients meet their goals by bringing a wealth of business knowledge and agricultural experience to the table. And, he is available today to assist you in obtaining your goals as well.
He grew up on a farm seven miles north of Holdrege, Nebraska and farmed for 16 years including having managed and operated a 500-acre irrigated farm in addition to a 100-head cowherd and fed cattle.
Since 1988, Rod has been a full-time farm manager, appraiser and real estate salesperson.
He holds an associate business degree from Central Community College. In addition, Rod has attained the highest level as a certified appraiser, has an associate broker license and has an appraising conservation easement certificate. Rod has been a member of Norfolk Rotary Club since 1995.

Randy’s extensive agricultural expertise was gained not only by his impressive education but also from years of firsthand experience in the fields. He attended both the University of Nebraska and Texas A&M programs on crop production and agricultural economics. He grew up on a family farm in Stanton County and has operated a row-crop farming operation near Pilger, Nebraska for over 25 years.
Dedicated to serving, Randy was president of Pilger Fire and Rescue for over 20 years, is a member of the Pilger Planning Commission and serves on the Stanton County Rural Fire Board. He is a founding member of the Pilger Housing Authority that built four apartments for the elderly. In addition he was the Parent Representative for Norfolk Public Schools Autism Services Enhancement Program called STEPS, and is a member of the Norfolk Noon Kiwanis and of the American Legion Riders-Post 16 Norfolk.
His professional affiliations include membership in AAPEX, the alumni group of participants of the Texas A&M Executive Program for Agricultural Producers and as associate member of The American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
