Dean is an experienced agricultural consultant ready to serve your farm and ranch business needs. He has 26 years of experience as a farm manager with UFARM in addition to being an Accredited Rural Appraiser, and a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
He grew up on a farm east of Lexington, where the family raised corn and alfalfa, and fed cattle. Dean currently owns the family farm and pasture in Dawson County along with his brother and sisters.
Active in county and statewide 4-H leadership roles, Dean was the president and agricultural representative on the Buffalo County 4-H Council, started the Animal Science Skillathon program in the county and currently coaches Buffalo County Meats and Skillathon teams, taking his third team to compete at the International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky this year. He is also on the Buffalo County Extension Board, and on the Kearney Area Community Foundation Agricultural Advisory Board, having served as past president and officer. He is the winter meeting chairman for the Nebraska Chapter of the American Society of Rural Appraisers, a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce agricultural committee, a committee member for the Nebraska Junior Livestock Judging Classic and assists with the Gateway Farm Expo and Cattlemen’s Classic shows.
His other community involvement includes the Kearney Noon Kiwanis where he is a past president and the Kearney First United Methodist Church where he has been treasurer for 20 years.
Dean holds a B.S. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, and an M.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.

Gary works with landowner clients to help them meet the goals and objectives they have for their farm. As a licensed associate broker he can help clients buy or sell rural property. In addition, he has an extensive background in insurance and is a licensed crop insurance agent. Gary’s primary focus is to develop relationships with his customers to allow him to effectively serve their wide variety of farm and ranch needs.
A native of Geneva, Nebraska, Gary has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of agricultural sales and management positions. Prior to joining UFARM, he served as a crop insurance marketing manager for a local agri-finance company. Anderson holds a dual degree in agronomy and agricultural economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Gary is active in the community as a member of the First Lutheran Church, Kearney Noon Rotary and is a member of the Gateway Farm Expo planning committee.

Mary Liss serves the Kearney office as administrative assistant along with providing real estate appraisal and sales needs.
A knowledgeable agricultural professional, Mary has been with UFARM for 20 years and is a Nebraska-licensed certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Real Estate Salesperson. Mary grew up on a family farm west of Albion, Nebraska and her prior work experience includes working for a wholesale chemical company and an agricultural accounting firm.
Her educational training includes coursework at South Central Community College, University of Nebraska-Kearney, American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and The Moore Appraisal Education Group.
Mary is a participant in Women in Agriculture and active with the Buffalo County Fair where she assists her grandchildren with their fair projects.
